Our Office Staff work really hard to inform all families of upcoming classroom events, programs, all school functions, days off, and PTO information, while our teachers take care of reaching out about what is happening inside the classroom regarding your child. Below you’ll find the various ways we communicate with you, so you’ll want to make sure you are checking these communication platforms to stay up to date with what is happening at Smart Start ELC.
Seesaw
In your Orientation Packet, you received a paper showing you how to log into your child’s seesaw account for this school year. If you are a previous student, you will need to log out of last year’s seesaw account and log in to the new one to see updates from teachers/directors. This is one of the best ways to communicate with your child’s teacher, find reminders for upcoming classroom and school events, and see pictures of what’s happening in your child’s classroom throughout the week.
Email & Flyers
You will receive emails from our office Staff regarding upcoming events, reminders, classroom/all school functions, days off and PTO information. Flyers also get sent home several days before our events/days off to remind you of what is coming up. Monthly Calendars get sent home at the beginning of each month and starting on the October Calendar, you can find our “Year at a Glance” on the back for your child’s class Calendar.
